Indra’s CEO Creates Management Committee, Takes Charge of Defense and Security Area

Indra’s CEO, José Vicente de los Mozos, will chair the management committee that he has created in the company, in which he will also be in charge of the Defense and Security area, with Borja Ochoa as deputy. He has also appointed Luis Abril, executive director of the company, director of Minsait, the Digital Consulting area.

This management committee, the creation of which the company communicated this Monday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), It is made up of 13 people, including the president of the company, Marc Murtrawho does not have executive functions in Indra.

The new organization revolves around its four business areas: Defense and Security, Technology and Digital Consulting (Minsait), Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Mobility. This governing body was approved by the Board of Directors last Friday, the same day the technology shareholders’ meeting was held, which ratified De los Mozos as director with executive functions.

Indra’s new structure also incorporates three new responsibilities in addition to the existing ones: Technology Director, Operations Director and Human Resources Director. In said meeting, de los Mozos advanced that he was going to create a management committee and gave an outline of the lines that he was going to follow in Indra, where he wants to promote a new strategic plan 2024-2026 with vision until 2023whose first brushstrokes will advance the analysts in the presentation of the results of the first semester.

In this committee, in addition to the two executive directors De los Mozos and Luis Abril, are Javier Ruano, as director of ATM (air traffic management); Raúl Ripio, from Mobility and Technology; Miguel Morel, of Technology; Luis de León, of Operations; and Sofía Collado, from Human Resources.

In addition, Antonio Mora will be director of Control, Borja García-Alarcón, Financial; David Santos, Legal; Jesús Presa, Communication and Marketing; and Manuel Ausaverri, from Strategy. De los Mozos foresees that Indra will become a benchmark Spanish multinational capable of competing with Thales or Leonardoas it advanced at the shareholders’ meeting, where it also explained its intention to formalize acquisitions and agreements to grow.
