Indra Sjafri Summons 34 Players for the 2023 TC SEA Games

Jakarta

Indonesian U-22 National Team will start the Training Center (TC) in Jakarta, starting, Wednesday (1/3/2023). A total of 34 players were summoned in preparation SEA Games 2023.

Most of the players called up came from League 2 clubs. Meanwhile, players from League 1 were players who had relatively few chances to play.

“God willing, the March training camp starts tomorrow Wednesday. We summoned 34 players in advance consisting of League 1 and League 2 players,” said the U-22 National Team Coach, Indra Sjafrion the official PSSI website.

“For players who regularly play in League 1, we have not summoned them at the training camp this time,” he added.

The plan is for the U-22 National Team TC to be divided into two batches, namely March 1-8 and March 9-16. So during TC it is very likely that there will be reductions and additions to players.

To train the U-22 team, Indra Sjafri will be assisted by assistant coach Bima Sakti, Eko Purjianto, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, then physical trainer Alex Aldha and goalkeeping coach Sahari Gultom.

“Before the call-up of players, we had an online meeting with all the coaches of League 2 and League 1 and received support from them. The March training camp will end on the 16th,” he added.
