Indra Sjafri had a talk with Shin Tae-yong directly before U-22 Indonesian National Team beat Vietnam. What is being discussed?
Indonesia vs Vietnam competed at the Olympic National Stadium, Phnom Penh, in the semifinals of the 2023 SEA Games, Saturday (13/5/2023). Indonesia managed to win 3-2.
Shin Tae-yong as the coach of the senior Indonesian National Team watched live at the stadium. Video footage on social media also shows Shin Tae-yong and Indra talking.
“I met with coach Shin and I just found out that he was present this afternoon on the field and we said ‘hello’,” said Indra.
Indra Sjafri continued his charm at the SEA Games. He at least beat Luis Milla and Shin Tae-yong who failed to bring Indonesia to the SEA Games final.
“As for coach Shin’s role, I think he is working in Indonesian football, meaning he is a person who plays a role in Indonesian football,” said Indra.
Indonesia in the final match met Thailand. The War Elephant successfully defeated Myanmar 3-0.
