Influencer aka influence Indra Kenz called unable to attend the examination of cases of alleged fraud under the guise of trading binary option or binary options trading Binomial at the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police, Friday (18/2).
Indra’s lawyer, Wardaniman Larosa, said that his client was currently seeking treatment in Turkey.
“So we have submitted a request for a postponement of the examination and rescheduling to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police,” Wardaniman said when confirmed, Wednesday (16/2).
He claimed his client went to Turkey because the treatment schedule existed long before the police call was received.
“He has a long history of illness, and has been scheduled for control. Long before there was this problem,” he said, without naming the disease.
It is known, Indra Kenz is one of the reported parties in the report sent by the victims from the Binomo application to the Criminal Investigation Department.
The victims were also examined by investigators on Thursday (10/2). They admitted that they were attracted to investment through the Binomo application because they were promised profits of up to 85 percent.
The Director of Special Economic Crimes (Dirtipideksus) of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, said the victims were also allegedly influenced by promotional content created by Indra Kenz through YouTube, Instagram and Telegram which said that Binomo was a legal and official application in Indonesia.
In fact, Binomo is one of thousands of other binary options applications that were blocked by the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA) of the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) because they did not have a permit.
The reported party, said Whisnu, also showed off his profits or profits on social media. So, the victims joined until in the end they did not make a profit.
