Indoor sports from April 19 allowed again

It has an end, the «sports lockdown». We can finally train indoors again. This means that the gates of the ASVZ Sport Center will open again next Monday, April 19. Various requirements prescribed by the Federal Council apply, and the ASVZ rules of conduct and protection concepts must be observed at all times.

You can read below what the easing of the Federal Council means for the ASVZ sports operations.

General requirements

  • Reopening of the Sports Center: The sports facilities will be open again on April 19th. Cloakrooms and showers will also be available. The ASVZ recommends, however, to appear already moved and to shower at home.
  • Online enrollment: The prior online enrollment also applies to every ASVZ sports offer. Admission to the sports facilities is max. 10 minutes before the start of the offer.
  • Mask requirement: In outdoor activities, either the minimum distance (1.5 m) must be observed or a mask must be worn. Masks are required at all times in the ASVZ within the sports facilities. The minimum distance must not be undercut, even with a mask. This applies both in cloakrooms / corridors and during exercise (including fitness).
  • Limited number of participants: The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 14 participants (plus one training leader). In small rooms, the number of permitted people must be further restricted.
  • Number of registrations per person: Registration is limited to 1 sport offer per day. This also applies to fitness slots. This does not apply to livestream lessons, which are available without restriction.
  • Slots «Free sports»: Free sports allow training in open halls or the use of cloakrooms / showers. The use of the fitness area is explicitly forbidden with the registration of the “free sports” slots. The «Fitness» slots are available for this.

The Rules of conduct and the protection concept for the ASVZ sports operations must be complied with at all times. By registering for ASVZ offers, you confirm that you are aware of them and that you accept them.

Contact sports

  • Indoor contact sports: Indoor contact sports can only be offered in an adapted form (e.g. technical training).
  • Outdoor contact sports: Outdoor contact sports are allowed again. A mask must be worn at all times.

Sauna/Wellness
The saunas and wellness facilities will remain closed until further notice.

Time-Stop

The time stop ends with the reopening of the Sport Center. ASVZ sports enthusiasts with chargeable ASVZ cards will be informed in a separate e-mail next week in detail about the time-stop options “use time stop” or “donate time stop”.
