Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Athletes Indonesia who competed in Asian Games 2022 (2023) today did not win a medal so the Red and White squad’s position in the standings was squeezed by neighboring countries.
The last medals won by Indonesia came on Thursday (28/9), namely in the sports of wushu, tennis, shooting and sepak takraw.
The total achievements of three gold, three silver and 10 bronze recorded yesterday did not increase. Because there was no increase in medals, Indonesia’s position remained stagnant at 12th place according to data from the official Asian Games website as of Friday (29/9) at 21.41 WIB.

Luckily for Indonesia, other countries whose positions were outside the top 12 zone could not win gold medals.
Singapore and Malaysia, which since yesterday were just below Indonesia with a collection of two gold medals in 13th and 14th place, still continue to overshadow the Garuda team. Likewise, Vietnam is in 15th place with one gold.
Countries that consistently win additional medals, especially gold, are top leaders such as China, Japan and South Korea.
China has even collected 105 gold medals. Meanwhile, Japan overtook South Korea’s medal tally and is now in second place.
Meanwhile, India and Thailand entered the top five positions, displacing Uzbekistan which was ranked sixth, followed by Hong Kong, Taiwan, Iran and North Korea in the top 10 positions.
