Indonesia is still in fourth place in the medal standings SEA Games 2023. Indonesia won 58 gold medals to stick with Cambodia.
Indonesia got an additional seven gold medals on Saturday (13/5). Tennis and fin swimming each contributed two gold medals.
The gold medals from tennis were obtained from the women’s singles and mixed doubles numbers. In women’s singles, Priska Madelyn Nugroho was the best. Meanwhile, from the mixed doubles, Christopher Ruangkat/Aldila Sutjiadi successfully defended the gold medal they also won at the previous edition of the SEA Games.
From fin swimming, the gold medal was presented by Wayhu Anggoro Tamtomo and Janis Rosalita Suprianto. Three other gold medals were won in the traditional boat race, weightlifting, and takraw sports.
Indonesia as a whole has collected 58 gold medals, 51 silver medals and 72 bronze medals. The Red and White contingent is only one gold medal away from Cambodia, which is in third place.
