Singapore Open 2023 enter the round of 16 on Thursday (8/6). The match took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium starting at 09.00 WIB
On field 1 of the third match, there was an Indonesia vs Japan men’s doubles duel namely Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo vs Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.
Kevin/Marcus lost 18-21 in the first game. In the second game, they lost 9-21 with a total of 33 minutes of playing time.
In the first game, the score was tight at the start. Hockey/Kobayasih were able to lead 4-2 and then stuck Kevin/Marcus 8-9. The first game interval won Hoki/Kobayasih 11-9.

Several times The Minions made their own mistakes. Finally the Japanese doubles were unstoppable and won a landslide victory 21-9.
