Yunita Sari (31) was arrested and detained by the police for breaking into her employer’s bank account using her birth date PIN. The burglary was carried out via an ATM machine.
Yunita is the victim’s household assistant (ART). The employer reported the crime to the Pancoran Police.
Yunita’s action of draining her employer’s bank account balance went viral on social media. The woman from Lampung also became a fugitive from the police after stealing a balance of IDR 20 million from her employer’s bank account.
The following are three actions by Yunita who broke into her employer’s ATM with her birth date PIN:
1. Steal an ATM card from inside the car
The police revealed Yunita drain the contents of the ATM his employer is worth tens of millions of rupiah. Police said Yunita obtained ATM cards from the victim’s car and house.
“From the investigation process by examining the suspect YS, the household assistant took the ATM in the car and in the house,” said Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Sujarwo when contacted, Thursday (29/2/2024).
“Then tried to use the victim’s birth date PIN until he succeeded in withdrawing the money,” continued Sujarwo.
2. Run to Lampung
After success drain the contents of the ATM Her employer, Yunita, ran away. Yunita fled to Lampung.
“The perpetrator ran away and hid in the Lampung area,” said Sujarwo.
Sujarwo said that Yunita had moved from residence to Tangerang. Until finally Yunita was arrested in Bekasi City.
“Then a search was carried out until it was discovered that he had moved to his hiding location in the Bekasi area until he was successfully arrested,” explained Sujarwo.
3. Leave the proceeds of crime to a friend
Police said Yunita entrusted the stolen money to her friend. Yunita’s friend is in Lampung.
“After carrying out the theft, the perpetrator confessed to Bandar Lampung at his friend’s house. The money was entrusted to one of his friends,” explained Sujarwo.
It is not yet known whether Yunita’s friend was involved or not. Currently, said Sujarwo, his party is still carrying out a series of investigations.
Yunita was successfully arrested in Bekasi City in the early hours of Tuesday (20/2).
