“Indonesian Pediatrician Association Praises Ministry of Health’s Digital Innovation for Child Immunization”

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) assessed the digital innovations made by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) for implementation child immunization rated good. It is hoped that this digital innovation can be carried out in stages to all regions in Indonesia.

As is known, the Ministry of Health has developed a strategy to promote routine immunization for children in order to provide protection from Immunization Preventable Diseases (PD3I). One of them, digitization of immunization.

The Ministry of Health has prepared a digital immunization recording application, namely the Healthy IndonesiaKu Application (ASIK). This means that there will be no more manual recording in the book, all child immunization data will be entered directly in ASIK which is integrated into the SATUSEHAT platform.

Can Monitor Immunization Coverage

“The Ministry of Health’s digital innovation is good. So we can monitor how much the immunization coverage is. You can see that, thank God there is a system feedbackhim,” said the head of the IDAI Immunization Task Force, Hartono Gunardi Health Liputan6.com after the Kalventis Vaccine Summit Press Conference at PT Kalventis Sinergi Farma, Pulo Gadung, Jakarta, Monday (8/5/2023).

In the Healthy IndonesiaKu Application (ASIK), the Ministry of Health will provide data on all children who have been immunized to all Community Health Centers and the Health Service. The goal is that child immunization data is also recorded at the respective Health Services.
