Bola.net – The Indonesian national team has 24 players in trials against Turkmenistan. PSSI has sent summons letters to the club, including Persib Bandung, whose four players are called Shin Tae-yong.
Indonesia will meet Turkmenistan in the FIFA Matchday trial match. This match is planned to be played on September 8, 2023 at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium.
The manager of the Indonesian national team, Sumardji, said that Shin Tae-yong had determined 24 players who would defend Garuda. PSSI has also sent a letter to the club on 26 August 2023.

In the letter numbered 3310/AGB/497/VIII-2020, four Persib players were included in the Indonesian national team. The four players are Marc Klok, Rachmat Irianto, Edo Febriansyah, and Ryan Kurnia.
If Klok, Irianto, and Edo have become regulars for the Indonesian National Team coach, Shin Tae-yong, in recent years, the situation has reversed for Ryan Kurnia.
After playing eight times with a record of 270 minutes playing for Persib in the 2023/2024 BRI Liga 1, the 27-year-old winger won Shin Tae-yong’s first trust in the Indonesian National Team.

Apart from the four Persib players, three pillars of Borneo FC Samarinda were also mentioned as joining the Indonesian national team. The three are Nadeo Argawinata, Stefano Lilipaly, and Adam Alis.
Lilipaly became the player with the most goal contributions until the tenth week of the BRI Liga 1. The naturalized midfielder recorded five goals and six assists from ten matches.
Meanwhile, since returning to Borneo FC, Nadeo Argawinata has shown consistent performance. Nadeo has kept clean sheets twice in the 10 matches played in the BRI Liga 1 2023/2024 so far.

PSIS Semarang has confirmed that one of their players has been called up to the Indonesian national team. PSIS said they had received a summons letter for the Indonesian national team, on behalf of Wahyu Prasetyo.
For the player with the nickname Hulk, this is the first opportunity to be called up by the Indonesian national team. Hulk caught Shin Tae-yong’s attention after becoming a core player for PSIS since the 2021/2023 season.
