Training Camp (TC) will be held Indonesian National team starting March 18 in preparation for Vietnam. A total of 27 players will be on Garuda’s call list.
The Indonesian national team will host Vietnam in the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), March 21 2024. After that, it will be Vietnam’s turn to host Indonesia on March 26.
For this match, Indonesian National team will start preparations for several days before the first match. The names of the players called up will be released by PSSI before March 18.

“As we have planned, we have 27 (players). On March 18, we will gather and start TC. That’s it, that’s it (determining the names of the players) because there’s only a short time left,” said Indonesian National Team Assistant Coach Nova Arianto to reporters, Wednesday (6 /3).
Nova also hopes that Thom Haye, Ragnar Oratmangoen and Maarten Paes will take part. The three of them have just been approved by the DPR RI for their naturalization application process.
However, the limited time available makes this potential relatively small. The three of them might only be able to join TC Indonesian National team. That’s even if it is called by Shin Tae-yong.
Previously, Shin Tae-yong used to call players of descent to join TC even though they were not officially Indonesian citizens. Some of them are Sandy Walsh to Jordi Amat.
“Hopefully we can, we’ll see the situation. Yes, we’ll just wait for PSSI’s official release, then we’ll see whether he comes in or not,” said Nova about Thom, Ragnar and Paes.
