SINGAPORE – Indonesian National team able to beat Singapore 4-2 in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2020 semifinals. After the match, Shin Tae-yong Appreciate the performance of the referee in the match.
The rain of cards was created in the match which took place at the National Stadium, Singapore, Saturday (12/26/2021). It was noted that three players from The Lions – the nickname of the Singapore national team – were expelled by the referee.
The three players who were sent off were Safuwan Baharuddin (in the 45+2′ minute), Irfan Fandi (in the 67th minute’). Last but not least is the Lions goalkeeper, Hassan Sunny (in the 118th minute).
Shin reflected on the match in the first leg which was marked by a number of harsh violations against Indonesian players. Shin also said that violations against Irfan Jaya and Ricky Kambuaya in the forbidden box should have resulted in a penalty.

“Indeed, for the first leg I spoke about having to respect the referee for his decision.
