Indonesian National Team Coach Shin Tae-yong’s Squad Selection for FIFA Matchday Against Palestine

TRIBUN-BALI.COM – Facing Palestine on the FIFA Matchday agenda last night, it appears that the coach of the Indonesian National Team, Shin Tae-yong, did not play his full squad.

As is well known, the Indonesian National Team has just completed its first match against Palestine on the FIFA Matchday agenda for the June 2023 period.

Jordi Amat, Sandy Walsh, and Shayne Pattynama sat on the bench watching the match between the Indonesian vs Palestine national team.

While Ivar Jenner and Saddil Ramdani started the match in the second round, replacing Kambuaya and Marselino Ferdinan.

It’s understandable why Shin Tae-yong didn’t field the three players above, with the exception of Sandy Walsh who suffered an injury to his calf.

Shayne Pattynama and Jordi Amat can become secret weapons against tougher opponents, namely the 2022 World Cup champion, Argentina.

Shin Tae-yong was in no hurry to field the two of them. On the other hand, Jordi Amat and Shayne Pattynama had just joined the Garuda squad.

Jordi Amat even underwent separate training from Marc Klok and colleagues before facing Palestine.
