Indonesian Hospital in Gaza Strip Damaged and Crowded with Wounds of Israeli Air Raid

GAZA CITY, KOMPAS.TV – Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip, overcrowded with wounded by Israeli air raids on Friday (14/5/2021).

The injured victims lay filling the hallways of the hospital, which is located in the northern city of Jabaliya, following a bomb that exploded near the hospital site.

Associated Press reported, blood splattered here and there. Some of the victims’ relatives filled the emergency room, weeping for their relatives who were victims and condemning Israel’s barbarity.

The hospital which was inaugurated in April 2016 with financial support MER-C, the Palestinian government and a number of Indonesians suffered damage as a result of an air strike launched by Israel last Tuesday (11/5/2021). It is still not known how much damage was sustained.

A similar situation is seen at Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The doctors, who were exhausted, rushed to treat the injured patients in order to immediately stop their bleeding.

The act of amputation was inevitable, so that the lives of the injured victims could be saved.
