Indonesian Heritage Flag Hoisting Team Revealed for Independence Day Ceremony at Merdeka Palace

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Indonesian Heritage Flag Hoisting Team (Paskibraka) Maju has the task of raising the Red and White flag at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (17/8/2023).

Lilly Indriani Suparman Wenda who is a representative from the Papua Highlands Province was chosen as the bearer of the Red and White flag. Currently, he is studying at SMAN 1 Wamena.

The other three from Group 8 who were tasked with raising the flag at the 78th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony were Bintang Wirasatya RA as Commander of Group 8 representing South Sumatra Province, Nathaniel Shawn Edgar Sondakh as flag spreader representing North Sulawesi Province, and Alfin Alfarisi as flag hoist representing West Sumatra Province.

Meanwhile, Colonel Arm Joko Setiyo Kurniawan was lined up to become the Commander of the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Currently, he serves as Danmen Armed 2/PY/2 Kostrad.

Acting as the Paskibraka Company Commander is Captain Mar Ganteng Prakoso. Currently, he is serving as Danki A Yonif 7 Mar Brigif 4 Mar BS Kormar.

Acting as the Ceremonial Officer was Brigadier General Arkamelvi Karmani. The man who was born on February 10, 1967, currently serves as Chief of Staff of the Permanent Garrison Command I / Jakarta. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1989.
