These results did not shake Indonesia’s position at the top of the 2021 SEA Games futsal standings.

The team coached by Mohammad Hashemzadeh has already pocketed eight points from four matches and a surplus of nine goals.

However, Indonesia will not end the competition in first place. They will certainly go down to second place and win silver.

This is because Indonesia’s two competitors, Thailand and Vietnam, have only played three times. The two teams will face each other on Friday (20/5/2022) for the gold medal.

Vietnam (+10) currently sits in second place with a collection of seven points, only ahead on goal difference from Thailand (+5) in third.
