– An Indonesian man who met at a reptile club presented a pair of snakes to a woman as a dowry.
Tribune News reported on the 28th that the bridegroom Sigit Agus Setiawan, married in Bogor, outside Jakarta on the 21st, presented two snakes as a dowry to the bride, Tiara Phospita Dewi.
One is a white albino python and the other is an amethyst python.
These two snakes were delivered to the bride in a transparent box with a ribbon. The groom also brought the large snake he had raised at home to the ceremony.
The guests who attended the wedding also rejoiced when the snake appeared.
The groom said, “I told my wife that I wanted to give her a snake as a dowry, and she readily agreed.”
