Another Indonesian athlete who has shown improvement is Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, who now holds the eighth position. Despite being eliminated in the first round of the Indonesia Open by Pusarla V. Sindhu, her performance was enough to boost her ranking.
Putri Kusuma Wardan has also moved up two levels from 39th to 37th place in the rankings.
In the men’s doubles category, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Adsan and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Martin have also made progress. They have each moved up one level and now rank seventh and ninth, respectively. Pramudya Kusumawardani/Yeremia Rambitan have also climbed one spot to 24th place.
However, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon experienced a setback, dropping one level to 16th place after their absence at the 2023 Indonesia Open.
In the mixed doubles sector, Rinov Rivaldy/Phita Haningtyas Mentari have moved up to 14th place, while Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati have maintained their 12th place ranking.
Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, the women’s doubles pair, have retained their sixth-place position with a total of 75,243 points.
