“Indonesia Wins Gold in Women’s Team Tennis at SEA Games 2023”

The Indonesian contingent won the gold medal SEA Games 2023 24th through nicks tennis women’s team, Tuesday (9/5).

In the women’s team final at the Morodok Tennis Center, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Indonesia beat Thailand 2-1.

Priska Nugroho recorded Indonesia’s victory over Thailand from the singles and doubles numbers Jessy Rompies/Aldila Sutjiadi.

In the first match, Aldila Sutjiadi lost to Anchisa Chanta 6-7 (6-8), 3-6. Priska Nugroho leveled the score at 1-1 after winning over Lanlana Tararudee 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

In the decider match, Jessy/Aldila beat Khumkum/Plipuech 6-3, 7-5. The women’s team victory over Thailand made Indonesia collect 24 gold medals.

The gold from the women’s team tennis was the second won by the Indonesian contingent on Tuesday (9/5). Previously, Indonesia received gold from the voninam branch from the women’s doubles number knife form: Ni Made Purnami/Putu Wahana Maha Yoni.

In total, on Tuesday, Indonesia won 9 medals, 2 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze. After getting gold from vonivam and tennis, the Red and White Team still has the opportunity to get additional gold through swimming and athletics.
