Indonesia Wins Gold in SEA Games 2023 from PUBG E-Sport Branch

Indonesia won the 70th gold in SEA Games 2023 Cambodia. The latest success was achieved from the e-sport branch through games PUBG. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Competing at Olympia Mall, Phnom Penh, Sunday (14/5/2023), Indonesia topped the PUBG game rating ranking out of 18 matches that were held. The Indonesian team 2 fronted by Haikal “Yummy” Aditya, Alan Reynold “Satar” Kumaseh, Septiadi “Hungry” Ardiansyah, Muhammad “Boycil” Afriza, and Teuku Muhammad “Ponbit” Kausar won the highest score.

Determination of victory is determined at the last stage. The elimination of four Vietnam 1 players ensured that they could not catch up with Indonesia’s points.


Throughout three days of fighting, the Indonesian team 2 finally scored 178, the result was 5 times Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner and a total of 105 kills, more than any other team. While the Vietnam 1 team is in second place with 152 points. The third place is occupied by the Vietnam 2 team with 151 points.

The Indonesian Team 1 also performed well by placing 5th. Even though they didn’t get a medal, Juventino ‘Rosemary’ Ryan et al proved they could compete with a score of 124 points over three days, and had two Winner-Winner Chicken Dinners.

This success made the PUBG Indonesia 2 team win a gold medal, becoming Indonesia’s 70th gold in SEA Games 2023. The amount of gold won has exceeded the target set by President Joko Widodo, who requested 69 gold medals from Cambodia.
