Indonesia vs Thailand in the 2023 Sudirman Cup will be presented at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center, Tuesday (16/5). This duel will determine who will win Group B.
The two countries themselves have ensured the same qualification for the quarter-finals. This happened after Indonesia and Thailand won their previous two matches in Group B.
Indonesia won 5-0 over Canada and 4-1 over Germany. While Thailand won with a similar score of 4-1 over Germany and Canada.
In the match later, Indonesia will play Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in the first match. Dejan/Gloria will face a tough task. They have to face Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanaachi who are currently ranked third in the world.
A fierce match will be presented in the second match. Jonathan Christie will face Kunlavut Vitisard.
The two players are only one ranking apart in the BWF. Jonathan is in sixth place while Kunvalut is in seventh position.
