Uber Cup Final 2024 pitting Indonesia against China. Fadia/Ribka lost two straight games against Chen/Jia, Indonesia while trailing 0-2.
The Uber Cup 2024 final was held at the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium, Chengdu, on Sunday morning (5/5/2024) WIB, bringing together Indonesia vs China. In the first match, Gregoria lost two straight games against Chen Yu Fei and made China lead 1-0 for a while.
The second match in Chinese doubles featured a duel between Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti / Ribka Sugiarto vs Chen Qing Chen / Jia Yi Fan. Chen/Jia is the top player in the world. Fadia/Rebekah lost in straight games.
The first game started, points were tight immediately. Fadia/Ribka, who were left behind, tried to apply pressure and were able to lead 5-4.
Chen/Jia often shot cross shots which made it difficult for Fadia/Ribka. The last two points were scored in this way, Chen / Jia led 11-7 at the interval.
With two mistakes by Rebekah after she wiped her sweat and if Fadia failed to anticipate a shot close to the net, Chen / Jia extended the distance to 14-7.

Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Ribka Sugiarto will try to apply pressure. Chen / Jia’s defense was too tough, so Fadia / Ribka fell behind 4-11.
Chen / Jia stepped on the gas to lead comfortably 14-4. It was very difficult for Fadia/Ribk to get out of the pressure, continuing to fall behind 7-17. Match point for Chen/Jia 20-8, in the end Indonesia lost 8-21.
