The Thomas Cup Indonesia team itself managed to advance to the quarter-finals after winning Group A. Indonesia performed brilliantly by sweeping three Group A matches with a win.
In the match to determine the winner of Group A, Wednesday (11/5), Indonesia managed to win 3-2 over South Korea.
While China managed to advance to the quarter-finals of the 2022 Thomas Cup as runners up in Group B. China collected two points from three matches played.
In the group stage China won two wins and one defeat. China won two wins over France (5-0) and Algeria (5-0).
Meanwhile, China’s only defeat was in the last Group A match against Denmark. In this match China gave up with a score of 2-3 from Denmark.
