Indonesia U-20 National Team just need to draw against Yemen for a ticket to Asian Cup 2025 U-20. However, coach Indra Shafri he emphasized that he was still aiming for victory.
Indonesia tops Group F of the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification standings with six points. Garuda Muda beat the Maldives 4-0 and Timor Leste 3-1.
Yemen is second with six points. This is due to the loss of goal difference with Indonesia Therefore, the two countries will meet on the last day to compete for the group winner status. The duel took place at Madya Stadium, Sunday evening (29/9/2024) WIB.

Indonesia only needs a draw to lock in Group F champion status and advance to the U-20 Asian Cup. Yemen, with goal difference behind them, like it or not, had to beat the Red-White team.
“Some game plans may need to be prepared well, but we still have the main target, which is to win the match against Yama,” said Indra Sjafri after the match.
“And of course plan B is a draw anyway. However, the team’s preparation is still able to win the game,” he said.
The runners-up positions from the 10 groups will enter a special center later. Of the 10 countries that qualify as runners-up, the top five will advance to China.
