Indonesia Women’s National Team U-17 they lost 0-12 to South Korea in the event 2024 U-17 Women’s Asian Cup in Gianyar, Bali, Thursday (9/5).
In the match at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia conceded six goals in the first half and conceded another six goals in the second half.
South Korea’s 12 goals were scored by Kim Hyo Won (13), Han Guk Hee (34), Beom Ye Ju (39), Park Ji Yu (40), and Quattrick Won Ju Eun (45 + 1, 50, 61 , and 86).
Then South Korea added to their number of goals through a penalty from Kim Yee Un (59), a brace from Baek Ji Eun (80 and 82), and Seo Min Jeong (90 + 2).
With this defeat, Indonesia, coached by Satoru Mochizuki, became the temporary caretaker of Group A. Indonesia has not won in the two games played.
Before that, Indonesia lost 1-6 to the Philippines. Even though they lost, Indonesia scored a good goal outside the penalty box through Claudia Scheunemann’s flick.
This defeat also ensures that Indonesia will not qualify for the last eight. Next, Indonesia will play their last match against North Korea, on Sunday (12/5).
