Indonesia has signed several cooperation agreements during Hannover Messe 2023, where it was the Official Partner Country. The agreements are expected to create jobs for 80,000 people, and include a government-to-government (G2G) agreement, four business-to-government (B2G) agreements, and 25 business-to-business (B2B) agreements. Indonesia’s success at the fair was reflected in the numerous visits to the Indonesia Pavilion and the participation of 157 co-exhibitors. The fair attracted visitors from outside of Germany, such as China, Korea, the Netherlands, and the United States, with 43 percent of the visitors coming from these countries. CEO of DMAG Jochen Köckler believes that the tens of thousands of visitors shared a similar vision of supporting a more competitive industry with a goal of going climate-neutral.
