Indonesia Targeting Participation in Mobile World Congress 2025: Minister Budi Arie Setiadi

Minister of Communication and Information, Budi Arie Setiadi, stated that the exhibition, which is always attended by more than 2,400 participants and attended by 1,100 speakers from various countries, has the opportunity to become a showcase for the development of the national telecommunications ecosystem.

Seeing this potential, Minister Budi Arie is targeting Indonesia to participate by opening a special booth for Indonesia at the annual Mobile World Congress 2025 trade exhibition.

“There have been discussions with several Director Generals. We hope that Indonesia can participate in the MWC event next year. “We plan that next year there will be an Indonesian booth,” he said during a visit to the MWC 2024 Exhibition, at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona, ​​Spain, Tuesday (27/02/2024).

The Minister of Communication and Information assesses that the dynamics of technological progress exhibited at MWC 2024 have important meaning for the Indonesian people who are undergoing accelerated digital transformation. Therefore, Minister Budi Arie hopes that the community and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia will be able to contribute actively.

“We must interpret this technological progress to make our society more productive, to be able to turn this technological progress into progress for Indonesia,” he said.
