Indonesia became the main spotlight on the world esports stage when two prominent female figures in the country’s esports ecosystem, Diana Sutrisno and Debora Imanuella, appeared with ideas and recognition of their achievements and competencies at the IESF World Esports Summit 2023 which took place in Busan, South Korea.
At the world esports summit, Diana Sutrisno, Deputy General Treasurer of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI) who is also a board member of the International Esports Federation (IESF), appeared full of inspiration when explaining Indonesia’s strategic efforts to achieve world-class achievements, especially in won the overall champion title at the IESF 14th World Esports Championships 2022 which took place in Bali.
Diana said that the key to Indonesia’s success was the implementation of intensive and comprehensive preparation. Through esports development programs that involve the Indonesian esports ecosystem, PB ESI can get the best esports teams.
Apart from that, comprehensive preparations were also carried out to support technical and non-technical readiness such as physical fitness, mental and psychological toughness, health and nutrition, and several other important elements.

Another proud moment for Indonesia at the IESF World Esports Summit 2023 was the awarding of the IESF Esports Hall of Fame in the Community Championship category to Debora Imanuella, Head of Public Relations and Communications at PB ESI.
This prestigious award was given to Debora as a form of world recognition for her extraordinary dedication, hard work and commitment in empowering and improving the competence of the esports ecosystem through her involvement as Head of Public Relations and Communications of PB ESI, as well as her position as Global Senior Vice President (SVP) UniPin and Founder of Luna Nera.
