Chery Omoda 5 begins to be assembled in Indonesia. CKD Kit Omoda 5 components have arrived in Indonesia.
The Chery Omoda 5 CKD Kit was sent directly from the Chery spare parts factory in Wuhu. CKD Kita Omoda 5 was immediately assembled to become a complete Chery Omoda 5 car. The assembly process was carried out for the Chery Omoda 5 which had been ordered by the first 100 customers. Shipments will be made in early April.
The OMODA 5 CKD Kits that arrived in Indonesia varied. Starting from the body, engine, transmission, and other components.
“OMODA 5 pre-booking orders have now started to be produced, the Chery OMODA 5 CKD Kit from China has arrived in Indonesia and we immediately started the production process. Chery is committed to delivering units to consumers on schedule,” said Shawn Xu President of PT Chery Sales Indonesia .
Of the 300 units scheduled for delivery in April, 100 units will first be handed over to consumers in early April. While the remaining 200 units are scheduled to be shipped in April. Then for the next, it will be according to the queue.
“Now, our team is producing OMODA 5. We are proud and happy, finally OMODA 5 has started production and in the near future it will be delivered to consumers,” he said.
Chery offers Omoda 5 with two choices. Chery Omoda 5 RZ sells for IDR 399,800,000 (OTR Jakarta), and OMODA 5 Z costs IDR 329,800,000 (OTR Jakarta).
Chery Omoda 5 has a unique look that not many other products have, especially on the face. One of the most iconic is the grille design which seems excited and striking. There are two Omoda 5 variants offered in Indonesia, namely RZ and Z.
This car has dimensions of 4,400 in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,588 mm in height. As for the kitchen spur, Chery pinned a 1.5L TCI engine that can produce 145 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 9 CVT transmission with an electronic shifter.
