No, the Nuits de Fourvière will not stop on July 28 with the Lila Downs concert. The festival has just announced the exceptional arrival of the Indochine group, on Saturday July 29th.
“The group called us”
A date which is added to the current tour of the group of Nicola Sirkis in the festivals. “It’s the group that called us to offer us this date, they wanted to come back to Fourvière,” explains Marion Krähenbühl, from the Nuits de Fourvière press office.
We remember that in September 2020, Nicola Sirkis had regretted, in our columns, not to be invited to the Nuits de Fourvière. Dominique Delorme, the director of the festival, had answered him, welcoming him, when he wanted.
It will therefore be July 29, almost a year after Indochina’s last appearance at Groupama, in front of 73,000 spectators. The concert will be more intimate in Fourvière, with only 4500 fans. The group has already played in the ancient theater on July 19, 1986 and July 16, 2006.
Tickets will go on sale for €58 on Friday July 21 at 11 a.m. on the site Nights of Fourvière.
