Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A number of Indonesian netizens have complained on social media that they cannot access the Zoom conference application via Indihome. What is the explanation of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom)?
Complaints about not being able to access Zoom via IndiHome were voiced by netizens via Twitter. These complaints began to be submitted at 11.00 WIB.
“My wifi uses IndiHome and can’t open Zoom,” complained one netizen, as quoted on Tuesday (12/10/2020).
“Zoom cannot be opened on IndiHome,” said another netizen.
“IndoHome failed to meet the stop acting challenge … can you guys make Zoom work fast,” complained other netizens.
So what is Telkom’s response to these Netizen complaints? Vice President for Corporate Communication Arif Prabowo said that currently there are checks and investigations to the content provider because the disruption that occurs is specific to the service in question.
“In this case, IndiHome only provides access to video conferencing services belonging to external content providers. The quality of service connectivity depends on the configuration of the content provider partners,” Arif Prabowo explained to CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (10/13/2020).
“Meanwhile, IndiHome access on the domestic network as well as other international content continues to run normally. Telkom always strives to improve service quality in order to provide the best experience for all customers.”
