It all begins in Nevada, in 1957. Indiana Jones and his collaborator Mac are captured by agents of the Soviet Union. The Russians are under the command of the ruthless Irina Spalko (an excellent Cate Blanchett), intent on discovering the whereabouts of the ancient Crystal Skull, hidden, according to legends, who knows where in Africa. As expected, Jones daringly manages to escape. Then he meets the young Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeuf) on his path… Fast-paced and a shock ending for this fourth chapter of the saga. The sixty-seven-year-old Harrison Ford was in splendid shape and, with a touch of pride, said “when the production sent me the stage costume and I tried it on it was incredible: it fit me like a glove, twenty years had passed since last time I wore it!”. Hollywood’s new golden boy Shia LaBeouf is convincing. Watch out for the cameo of Karen Allen who returns in the role of Marion Ravenwood (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”).
