At this point you know that there will often be an opportunity to get a preview of that game. Indy (the movies) fan Huey was right at the front during a preview session in London. He grabbed his passport, hurried to the airport and sat behind the console available in the UK. He played several levels in a session of several hours. What was his experience? Will Xbox finally deliver a great single-player game again? You can find the answer in the preview of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Preview: Action-packed Adventure or Action-packed Adventure?
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an action-adventure created by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game, duh, is based on the Indiana Jones franchise and tells an original story that has several connections to the movies. The story takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You follow the adventurous archaeologist as he tries to stop several groups that want to make use of the ‘power’ connected to the ‘Great Circle’. This circle refers to secret places around the world that form a perfect circle when connected on a map. Think Rome, Thailand, Egypt, Shanghai and the Himalayas. And so that’s where you go.
Xbox could use a good single-player blockbuster
Huey played with the new Indy building for several hours. He visited some environments and handled some missions. What was he thinking? How did you like your first look at an adventure game? What was the relationship between the ‘adventure’ part (puzzles, finding places, etc.) and the ‘action’. Was this fair or biased? Huey will tell you about it in this video Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
