Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Official Gameplay Deep Dive Revealed – Release Date, Features, and More!

This Monday afternoon, Bethesda will broadcast a ‘gameplay deep dive’ called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

In the video – which is already ready below, but can only be seen on Monday at 4:00 pm Dutch time – the audio director Pete Ward from the developer MachineGames talks about the game and viewers see more of the new adventure of Indiana Jones.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has a first-person view, although the camera sometimes switches to third-person – for example during cutscenes or when Indiana Jones climbs. The appearance of the main character is based on a young Harrison Ford, and the voice is voiced by Troy Baker.

The story of the game takes place between the films Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. When Indiana Jones meets a burglar in the form of a large man at Marshall College to steal relics, the adventurer travels to Vatican City to find out more. Other places that players visit include Egypt and the Himalayas.

In battle, players can not only shoot guns, but also fight with their fists or use the iconic whip. Puzzles also play an important role in the game.

Lars Cornelis he previously received an extensive presentation of the game and wrote a preview: “The game world looks uniquely 1930s, but through a 1980s lens, complete with actors from that era. We’ll know later this year if it’ll be the perfect tribute to the original Indiana trilogy Jones.”

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releases on December 9 for Xbox Series consoles, PC and Xbox Game Pass. The game will also come to PlayStation 5 in the spring of 2025. Appeared recently that Bethesda and MachineGames are targeting 60 frames per second, on both Xbox Series X and S.
