Indian youth committed suicide because PUBG Mobile was blocked

Reported Indian Express, India is taking decisive steps. They are known to have officially banned PUBG Mobile from being played in their government area. Not only that, 117 applications from China were officially banned by the Indian Ministry of Information and Technology on Wednesday (02/09/20).

The move by the Information and Technology Ministry follows political tensions between India and India China. As is known, the conflict between the two countries has recently intensified.

Many game fans have expressed disappointment and anger at the Indian government’s move. However, tragic and extreme events occurred due to the blocking of PUBG Mobile.

A 21 year old man hanged himself because he could no longer play the game. This was announced by the police in Nadia District, West Bengal, India, Sunday (6/9/20).

A student named Pritam Halder was found hanging at his house. The reason Pritam killed himself was because he could no longer play PUBG Mobile.

He ended his life on the morning of September 4. According to the mother, the son returned to his room after breakfast. When calling his son for lunch, Pritam did not answer.

When the mother checked her room, the door was locked inside. With the help of the neighbors, the mother broke down the bedroom door. Unfortunately, Pritam was found dead.

“He used to play games at night. I think he killed himself because he couldn’t keep playing on the PlayerUnknown battlefield, ”said the mother, as Gizmochina reported.

After talking to Pritam’s family, the police came to the same conclusion. A similar case occurred in a village in the Anand district of Ahmedabad. A 16 year old teenager committed suicide after his father confiscated his cellphone.

The father is angry because his son has been playing PUBG Mobile all day. Police said the teenager drank the insecticide on August 31. After he was taken to the hospital, doctors declared him dead the next day.

Apart from PUBG Mobile, other apps blocked in India include WeChat Work, WeChat, Sina News, Taobao, Youku, Alipay, CamCard, Baidu, Cut Cut, VooV, Tencent Weiyun, Rise of the Kingdoms, Zakzak, etc.
