Indian star Shreyas Iyer is all set to play in the Ranji Trophy. Shreyas, who was left out of the Indian squad for the upcoming series against Afghanistan, will join the Mumbai Ranji squad. Mumbai will now play against Andhra at the Bandra-Kurla Complex from January 12.
Shreyas did not shine in the two-match Test series against South Africa.
Against South Africa he scored 31, 60 and 4*. Shreyas is expected to return to the squad for the five-Test series against England
Iyer replaces Sarfaraz Khan who has gone to Ahmedabad to represent India A.
