The Indian company Tata presented the electric car Tiago.ev, created specifically for the local market and boasting one of the lowest prices on the market at the moment. The car sells for the equivalent of $ 10,370 or approximately BGN 20,000.
For this amount, the customer gets a compact sedan with a 19.2 kWh battery, which is enough for a range of 255 kilometers according to the Indian measurement standard. For people who want a bigger battery, the Mitsubishi Colt sedan is also available with a 24 kWh battery and the ability to charge up to 7.2 kW. In the larger battery version, the range increases to 315km and a single charge in 30 minutes adds 110km of range to the battery.
The propulsion is ensured by an engine placed in the front, which is sufficient for a power of 74 horsepower and 114 Nm. Tata does not mention anything about acceleration to 100 km / h, but says it only takes 5.7 seconds to reach 60 km / h. The car also has a warranty of 160,000 kilometers or 8 years.
