Suara.com – A doctor in India has warned that yeast infection white (candida) which infects the patient’s lungs corona virus Covid-19 it can be deadly, like the plague black fungus (mucormycosis).
This happened after a medical officer in India said that the black fungus infection had rotted the organs and limbs of some Covid-19 corona virus patients.
Now, an expert warns that white yeast infection in patients with the Covid-19 corona virus who have recovered can be as dangerous as black fungus infection.
Dr SN Singh, head of microbiology at Patna Medical College in Bihar, India said white yeast infections in patients who have diabetes also tend to look like black yeast infections.

Black fungus infection is called mucormycosis, which is caused by a group of mucormycetes that live on rotting vegetables and fruit, bread, soil and plants.
Dr Singh explained that a white yeast infection can be just as deadly if it infects the lungs of an immunocompromised person. However, Dr Singh said that so far there have been no reports of white yeast infection cases at the hospital in Patna.
Even so reported from The Sun, Dr Singh said that the presence of candida had been found in the lungs of patients, two of whom had recovered from the Covid-19 corona virus.
Candida is a yeast infection caused by a fungus and usually lives on the skin or in the body, such as the mouth, throat, intestines and vagina without causing problems.
However, some people may experience itching or irritation due to a yeast infection. According to experts, hot, humid conditions and using oxygen aids for a long period of time can increase black and white fungal infections.
