Shopian: Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan got married. The bride hails from Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Sarfaras announced the wedding news to his fans through Instagram. A picture with the bride has also been shared.
‘The Almighty has decided that my destiny is to get married in Kashmir. I got a lot of love here. I will visit this place whenever I get time’ – Sarfaraz said.
Sarfaraz Khan is a record holder in domestic cricket. The player with the highest average in first-class cricket after Don Bradman. Only Vijay Merchant (98.35) and Sachin Tendulkar (87.37) have averaged more than 82 in the Ranji Trophy. He is the first player to score more than 900 runs in consecutive Ranji seasons.
The 25-year-old scored 928 runs at an average of 154 in the 2019-20 season. In the 2021-22 season, he scored 982 runs including four centuries. 556 from six games in 2022-23.
