Indian chief Almir Narayamoga reportedly found

This Tuesday evening, the Medef Côte-d’Or organizes its business wishes ceremony in Dijon. A moment that was to be marked by the intervention of Almir Narayamoga Surui, the Brazilian chief of the Indian people Paiter Surui, who is fighting against deforestation and the maintenance of indigenous peoples.

But earlier today, the organization announced in a statement that it was obliged to cancel the chief’s intervention. The latter, who was to land on Monday January 20 at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris, had not given any news to his entourage and his collaborators since last Saturday.

“A priori, he is alive. In his territory”

However, good news came this evening. According to Thomas Pizer, from the Aquaverde association, and David Buter, president of MEDEF 21, chef Almir has been “found”. “A priori, he is alive. In his territory,” said Thomas Pizer.

Thomas Pizer adds: “We know he’s fine,” adding that their source comes from the entourage of the chief. For his part David Buter rejoices: “I am reassured because he is alive.”

The concern was all the stronger on the Medef side as a threat weighed on Almir Narayamoga Surui, “his head having been put at price because of his fight against illegal deforestation”.
