Indian police said young actress Tonsha Sharma died on Saturday on the set of a TV series, according to Al-Ittihad newspaper.
Sharma was initially taken to hospital, where her death was later confirmed, according to India’s news agency, quoting police, who added that the 20-year-old took her own life while working. The investigation is still ongoing and according to NDTV, Sharma was filming near Bollywood City in Mumbai.
The girl has appeared in many Indian TV series and Bollywood films. A few hours before the news of her death, Sharma made a post on her Instagram account, and fans and followers expressed their shock and grief for the actress in their comments.
