India: Vice President of Maharashtra jumps from the third floor of the building, engages in India

MUMBAI: Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and NCP group leader Ajit Pawar, Narhari Sirwal, MP and three MLAs jumped from the third floor of the government building. They jumped down while complaining about reservations. A security net has already been set up in the building as a result of the complaint. So no one was hurt.

Various tribal groups protested against the inclusion of the Dangar community in the scheduled tribal reservation, led by members of the Legislative Assembly. At the same time, the Vice President jumped unexpectedly. The activists are demanding that the Dangar section be taken out of the scheduled tribe reservation.

The pictures of them jumping from the building are circulating on social media. Three people who fell into the security zone are also seen climbing back into the building.

BJP along with the Deputy President. MP Hemand Sawra, MLA Times of India reports that Kiran Lahamate, Kiraman Khoskar and Rajesh Patil also jumped down. They climbed back from the safety net and continued their sit-in protest.
