India shot down Pakistani drone: came to the border in Rajasthan for reconnaissance! search operation continues

Shri Ganga Nagar. Vigilant and alert soldiers of the Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a drone coming from across the border in Sriganganagar sector of Rajasthan, situated on the Indo-Pak border. At around 12 o’clock on Saturday night, the jawans of the 77th Battalion of the Border Security Force opened their guns on hearing the movement of Pakistani drones in the Anandsar border outpost area. BSF jawans fired about 38 rounds at the Pakistani drone.

BSF has expressed apprehension that this drone came from across the border to Pakistan, possibly with the intention of smuggling heroin or reconnaissance of the border area. After the firing, an intensive search operation is being conducted in the area by the Border Security Force and the local police since late night. Along with this, the suspects are also being monitored by blockade.

This Pakistani drone shot down by BSF is a hexa copter. It can carry 8 to 10 kg weight comfortably. At present, the search operation of the Border Security Force and the local police is going on. Every suspicious movement in the area is being monitored. This is not the first case when Pakistan has sent its drone to the Indian border while doing a nefarious act. In the past also, Pakistan has been doing such activities continuously.

The drone came from across the border on May 28 as well
In the early morning of May 28, there was a movement of Pakistani drones at Khayaliwala, the border outpost of Shrikaranpur sector. Even then about one and a half dozen rounds were fired by the BSF jawans. But during that time the Pakistani drone could not be hit and it returned back to the border of Pakistan.

Even on May 17, Pakistan had done nefarious act
Earlier, on May 17, near BSF’s Nemichand post in Anupgarh sector of Sriganganagar, Pakistan’s drone came from across the border to drop heroin in the Indian border. He was also killed by BSF jawans by firing 42 rounds. At that time, 5.38 kg of heroin worth about Rs 25 crore was recovered in the search operation.
