The British Prime Minister’s mother-in-law Rishi Sunak became today – as reported – a member of the Indian Parliament in recognition of her work in the philanthropic arm of the global technology giant Infosysco-founded by her husband.
THE Sudha Murthy, 73, a former chairman of the Infosys Foundation, was appointed to the upper house, whose 12 members are appointed by the head of state for six-year terms and the rest – almost all – are elected.
