Indian authorities say they are shifting their focus to Chinese technology because they are “detrimental to India’s sovereignty and integrity, Indian defense, national security and public order.”
China has also reportedly suffered fatalities on the battlefields of the Himalayan plateau, but does not disclose the numbers.
India has increasingly used economic weapons against its neighbor in a new chapter of their dispute.
New Delhi has warned that these ties risk permanent damage unless Beijing withdraws its troops to positions held before May.
