Mumbai: BCCI has named a 15-member Indian squad for the Women’s Twenty20 World Cup. Two Malayalam players were included in the team. Asha Shobhana and Sajana Sajeev are the Malayalis in the 15-member team. This is the first time that two Malayalam players have been included in the Indian cricket team for the World Cup at the same time. The captain is Harmanpreet Kaur. Smriti Mandana will be the vice-captain. The tournament will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from 3 to 20 October.
