As reported Ministry of Family and Social Policy, higher pensions have already reached over 3.9 million seniors, and payments by March 10 totaled over PLN 9.5 billion. (in mid-March it is already over PLN 12.5 billion). After indexation, the lowest retirement, social and survivor’s pension is now PLN 1,000. 338 zlotys 44 groszy gross and is more than 87 zlotys higher than the previous one.

“Thirteen” without tax
In April, the Social Insurance Institution will start paying the thirteenth pensions. You do not need to apply for any claim as it is for everyone who is eligible for retirement benefits. Pensioners will receive the money along with the April pension. “Trzynastka” will amount to 1 thousand. PLN 217 PLN 98 per hand — this is more than the net amount of the pension itself, because the Ministry of Finance has decided not to charge the “thirteen” tax.
