We’ll also be able to hit the classic Doom and the horror game The Evil Within on Xbox consoles, thanks to Microsoft’s earlier acquisition of ZeniMax and within that, Bethesda.
A couple of months ago, Microsoft acquired ZeniMax as part of a business deal, and Bethesda, along with the company, went to the Redmond company for $ 7.5 billion. This now means to us gamers that more Bethesda games have been added to the console and PC versions of the Xbox Game Pass. Specifically, the Game Pass was expanded on Friday with twenty Bethesda titles.
The games listed below will be available as part of the Microsoft Game Pass from March 12, which also means they can be played on consoles, PCs and xCloud. Not all brand new titles (Doom Eternal has been in the Game Pass for some time), but
such as the first installment of the horror franchise Evil Within, which has now only become part of Microsoft’s service. Some games will, in principle, run “even faster” on Xbox Series consoles, taking advantage of their FPS acceleration. The full list is shown below.
