The midfielder of Bayern Munich, Joshua Kimmich, who is in the top German football league, will no longer play this year, according to the club’s official website.
The Bavarian star is sure not to be there for his team’s meeting against Mainz, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, as he didn’t fully recover from the coronavirus infection.

Kimmich had previously been targeted by the German press because he had openly agreed not to vaccinate himself. He said he himself is not on the vaccine, but is awaiting the results of further clinical trials because of the possible side effects of the vaccine.
The 26-year-old footballer has not played since mid-November. At first Niklas Süle was quarantined as a contact, later a relative also tested positive, and then he became infected with the virus himself.
